What makes completing a quest feel good?

1. Introducing or unlocking a new travel method

-Swamp boat

-Troll bridge (let us use the bridge for free if we defeat him solo)

-Portals

2. Unlocking new shops to buy or sell items

-White Rat Quest NPC shops

-Swamp Quest NPC shops

3. Unlocking new areas to hunt

-Bandit Ship in desert (both sides)

-Spider Cave Door keys

4. Unlocking new areas to use or explore

-Swamp Depot

-Dwarf rune forging area

-Dungeons/Bosses

-Black market

5. Items worth dying for

-Spell books

-Runes

-Armor (Sewer Troll)

-Weapons (Swamp Troll, Dwarf Fight Arena)

6. Outfits

Outfits are so cool in this game. That moment when you see another player with an outfit and you ask them how they got it. I currently don't like the outfits currently being rewarded for turning in 100 items from monsters, I assume it was just for the play test.

IDEAS:

-Send the player off on a long quest unique to their class. Or make outfits that can be worn by all classes for completing a difficult boss, or a solo challenge like the Loki solo fight or the brass knuckles fight.

-Give out an outfit to top pvpers or pvp teams for winning a tournament once a month.

7. Player Housing

-Hidden Spider Tree House in Draugthwood (Make it way bigger and have multiple apartments to rent).

Make housing areas in the game that require a quest to rent or get to.

These are the types of quest rewards that are like crack to me, keep adding more like this. There's no better feeling in a mmorpg than seeing someone with an item you can't get or enter an area you have never entered before.

Overall,

Loved the play test. This game has so much potential and Ed + team are doing a great job.
